Food has healing powers. We can tap into those powers when we eat the right foods in the right amounts.
Are you struggling with a health challenge? Are you trying to get your weight to a healthy place and in a healthy way? Do you have a diagnosed condition and want to eat in the best way to support your body but aren’t sure how? Do you have unexplained symptoms that may have been written off by your healthcare provider?
This is so common today. We’ve swapped out the healing nutrients of food for a pill. We go on crash diets to lose weight, but haven’t built healthy, sustainable habits to keep the weight off. While I truly believe there is a time and place for traditional medical intervention, I don’t believe it should be our first stop. Hippocrates said “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” To use food to heal our bodies we need to focus on several things.
- How do we get the nutrients we need from food?
- Does food quality really matter?
- What foods should I avoid for optimal health?
During consultations, I focus on clients’ personal health struggles and formulate a plan designed specifically to help them achieve their health goals. I teach what foods to avoid to prevent triggering symptoms, how to eat to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way without feeling hungry all day long and how to choose the highest quality foods to promote healing.
